有人問我：
「你寫這麼多文章，難道不怕公司主管覺得你不務正業嗎？
還是，你乾脆辭職去寫小說算了？」

我笑了。因為這問題，其實我岳母也曾擔心過。
她一路辛苦養大孩子，知道生活的壓力有多重。
她最怕的，不是我寫錯字，而是我失去正職，沒了養家的基礎。

這不是親友的捧場，

【我的英文名，其實是女兒選的】

有同事最近笑著問我：
「欸，你取英文名字叫 Daniel Zhou，是不是想耍帥？」

我也笑了，因為背後的真相其實完全不是那麼回事。

真正的原因只有一個：
👉 我的兩個女兒，都超喜歡三麗鷗的角色。

其中一個角色，叫 Dear Daniel，是 Hello Kitty 的青梅竹馬兼男朋友。
因為她們常常看著這角色，開心地喊「Daniel、Daniel！」，
我乾脆就順水推舟，把自己的英文名固定成了 Daniel。

【當同事開始喊我劍主的那一刻】

今天早上騎腳踏車進工廠上班時，後面傳來一聲大喊：
「劍主！」

我愣了一下，回頭看，原來是別部門的同事。
那聲音不是嘲笑，而是帶著一點玩笑、一點尊敬。

接著，另一個部門的同事也笑著喊我：
「大文豪！大作家！」

最近有人半開玩笑說：
「周明樺，你這樣寫，快被包裝成教主了吧？」

我笑了。因為我知道，自己不是什麼教主。
我沒有神蹟，也沒有救世的力量。
